It’s in the bag! Makerspaces to Go! A “Novel” Idea (4-10)
Support classroom curriculum, challenge student curiosity and thinking with the power of “Makerspaces to Go”. A variety of children’s books serve as the starting point for the development of themed bags housing material and activities to engage students in authentic doing and learning. Books selected are a starting point for investigations. Making, doing, creating, will include art, music, crafting, photography, up-cycling, storytelling, and technology. Leave with renewed enthusiasm and strategies that can be readily adapted to suit your literacy, STEAM and program requirements for both junior and senior students.
