Experience an author visit by children’s book author, Lisa Caprelli, as she takes you on a journey from a child’s point of view with creative thinking. By using examples from her own series, Unicorn Jazz, Caprelli will go beyond the books as she shares the meaning behind her passion for storytelling and how she creates picture books that expand imagination. Her messages within the Unicorn Jazz series include the importance of teamwork, social emotional learning, building empathy, sharing kindness, celebrating happiness, the power of being unique and believing in others.
