Student spaces should be reflective of student interests and experiences. This helps students to feel connected to these spaces. What better way to do that then to let them have a say in the physical space? Walls are often spaces that we use to decorate, provide information, or otherwise use in a utilitarian way. What if we instead re-purpose these and create student-centered spaces that are directly reflective of our students? This session will explore different ways this can be done and how you can create spaces within your library for students to create and explore, at times by literally writing on the walls.
