I am a high school teacher librarian in Central Unified School District in Fresno, CA. Formerly, I worked as an English teacher, National Park ranger-- environmental educator and coach.

I have worked cross-curricularly with ELA and History teachers for more than two decades. I believe firmly in the power of stories and how they bridge young people, their various cultures and humanity.
